Who is right, who is wrong.

It was around 10 at night when I got off the bus from Manila and it just stopped raining outside. I was wearing white sneakers so I decided I should ride a jeepney to avoid messing my  shoes.

I called a jeepney and when I stepped on it, it suddenly moved forward so naturally I had to hold on to the handrail above to maintain my balance, in doing so, I accidentally hit an old lady on her head with my elbow, I immediately apologised and went on to find an empty seat.

Few seconds later, the old lady started cursing at me, saying I was so rude not to even say sorry for “accidentally” hitting her. I was shocked. I was sure that I said sorry the moment I hit her.

I paid for fare and still, she wouldn’t stop complaining and cursing. I was tired from school and I was starting to get annoyed at her. I looked back and said that I was sorry and yes I did apologised earlier, nonetheless, I was sorry.

For some reason, every passenger heard me say sorry again except her. After few more minutes of complaining and cursing (at me), she then decided that that wasn’t enough so she said that something bad will happen to me for my rude behaviour.

I was shocked that she went that far but I did not do anything. My fellow passenger beside me told me to just ignore her and I should just let it go (because she was an old lady) and that’s what I did.

But oh no, she wasn’t finished. She said that if I got off the jeepney before her, she will hit me with her bag. It wasn’t just me who was shocked, it was all of us.

The thing is, I have to get off on the next block so I decided that I was ready for that bag. Luckily, the passenger beside me asked where will I get off and actually asked the driver to stop so I can get off.

Thanks to that passenger, I got off the jeepney safely.

What’s my point here? My point is that no matter how pissed and hurt you are, you should never wish danger and harm to anyone. /ESPECIALLY IF IT WAS AN ACCIDENT AND THE PERSON ALREADY APOLOGISED AND IT DID NOT FUCKING KILL YOU/

You are already an old lady and I respect older people, but as an adult, you should already know what is right and what is wrong. Don’t you think it’s too much to ask danger to one’s life? AREN’T YOU GOING TOO FAR? I mean it’s not like I fucking hacked you head off, right?

Look, I have nothing against you, but even preschoolers know that wishing someone harm is wrong. Don’t ever use your age to settle that what you say is right. Don’t use your fucking age to fucking BEG for respect because even toddlers can earn someone’s respect if they deserve it.

Hello love,

Second semester starts this Tuesday–actually it’s Monday but I don’t have classes every Monday so yeah, anyway it’s gonna start and I’m not sure if I’m ready to go back to school. I kinda don’t want to. Like never. BUT I have to. Sometimes life isn’t about what you want, it’s about what you have to, what is right. It’s funny you know, freedom. It says that you can do anything because you’re free but you can’t because freedom has its limits so technically you’re not free. What on earth did i just write? I don’t know, probably some random thoughts. Anyway this is about a new semester! Hope I survive! Cross fingers!

Do you know MaryJane Veloso? If you don’t, well she’s a Filipina who was arrested and sentenced to death for allegedly smuggling heroin into Indonesia. She was sentenced to death in October 2010 but was spared due to a moratorium on capital punishment by Indonesian President (wikipedia). On the midnight of April 29, 2015, the set date of execution, Veloso was spared from death at the very last minute so she can stand as a witness during the trial of her alleged human trafficker. She was granted a stay of execution after reports that her trafficker surrendered to the police.

A lot of Filipinos are praying for her life. And then one moment, she was spared.
The thing I want to point out is that, when she was not yet spared, they (Filipinos) are blaming the Philippine President, Aquino for not doing anything. Everyday on the news, we see them complaining and complaining then when she was spared, they never say a simple ‘thank you’ to the president. Because admit it or not, he’s one of the reasons why she was spared AND I’M NOT SAYING THAT THE PRAYERS DIDN’T WORK, I mean of course it did, nothing is impossible to God but Pnoy is the one who talked to the president, I mean if he didn’t I don’t think she’ll be spared.

Another thing is that, Mary Jane’s mother, refused to give gratitude to the president or idk. I mean, why can’t people show gratitude for the little things, little good things that has happened. Why not be thankful that she was spared; I’m not forcing everyone to say thank you to the president, I’m saying is why not be thankful, is it so hard to appreciate things? Is it hard to say thank you that Mary Jane lives longer, and has the chance to prove her innocence?

Today, I read that Mary Jane’s mother finally says ‘thank you’ and that is nice and good to hear.
(Hope everyone does too)

Well me? I’m just thankful that Mary Jane is still alive -tho I don’t know her personally- and hoping that she will be free to go soon.

🙂

Blogging 101: Introduce Yourself

Hello! Personally, I never thought that I would have my own blog. Simply because, I’m not very good at words and I sort of don’t know what to write. I am very thankful for Blogging 101   because of their little topics everyday I can write on my blog. Basically, I tried to do a blog just to express and share my feelings (sort of) and I don’t know if someone is reading this but who knows, maybe there is someone waiting for my next blog post *wink*

New year, new blog? Make it a great one.

The Daily Post

New to blogging? A new session of our introductory blogging course starts on Monday, January 5 — and all bloggers are welcome, whether you blog on WordPress.com, a self-hosted WordPress blog, or somewhere else entirely.

Blogging 101 is four weeks of daily bite-size assignments that take you from “Blog?” to “Blog!” — along with a supportive community to encourage you all the way through. At the end of the course, you’ll have a blog you’re proud and excited to publish, and that others are excited to read. Here’s how it works:

My blog has gone from being dull and plain to having widgets and all this shmancy tech stuff, and from having almost no followers to having a loyal following now!

Mystery box

You wake up one morning to find a beautifully wrapped package next to your bed. Attached to it is a note: “Open me, if you dare.” What’s inside the mystery box? Do you open it?

What is inside the mystery box? I think it has my most precious dreams–hopes. and yes i would open it. I dare to be someone that I’ve been imagining in my head. I dare to be a half-blood. I dare to face monster that were from the depths of Tartarus. I dare to be in our camp every summer. I dare to be a witch. I dare to enter the great castle of Hogwarts. I dare to have a wonderful feast in its hall. I dare to be an elf. I dare to be part of the Fellowship of the Ring. I dare to walk into Mordor.(LOL. One does not simply walk into Mordor)  I DARE.

Portkey

For three hundred and sixty five days,

I have travelled along many places.

I paid none for plane, nor for ship

Just a handful of time for this trip.

Every page is a memory –

Every word is a possibility

For this story is my own adventure

An adventure he shared to me, and I to you

Please do remember this,

Every library is an airport –

Every book is a ticket; and

Every chapter is a destination

Maybe my own Old Man of Wandering Mountain

                Writes everything that has happened

Who knows what an unexpected journey must I join next?

My life will last the time of my song,
But that won’t be long.
Death has come; Charon’s here for my soul
I guess I have to say good-bye after all

Do you remember the song when we first met?
Perhaps the song that was playing when I left
Now this is where,
This is where

This is where we’ve ended —
But tell me my friend, you so young,
Will you remember what I have sung?
